There is SO much going on in the world right now. It’s hard to know what to focus on. I mean, we can walk and chew gum with the best of them but this… is NEXT LEVEL. Read on to check out a few of the things that we’re talking about these days.
Historic Civil Rights Protests – We’ve read that the current unrest is the largest civil rights protest in HISTORY! That’s EPIC. What’s interesting is there are so many people joining us in this fight. They aren’t sitting on the sidelines. That seems to give hope that this time will mean something and things will really change. The thing is, everything seems to be changing but the things we’ve asked for. Time will tell. How hopeful are you?
Black Lives Matter – Speaking of the protests, isn’t it crazy how BLM has grown to have such worldwide support. It says a lot about how things have changed over time. It also speaks to how black people are exhausted, not just in the US but everywhere. Clearly, we’re over it!
Is COVID-19 over? – From our social media timelines and just walking around to run errands, I think most of us have seen people that seem to act like things are back to normal. There have been several people that make us question our sanity. It’s easy to feel like you’re alone in taking this thing seriously when people are getting together for pool parties and meeting up with friends while you’re still holding it down at home.
Finding the good in 2020 – There has to be a silver lining in all of this, right? This year has been nothing short of the worst roller coaster ride ever. Still, let’s look for the good. Many people have said that the coronavirus caused them to slow down. That made them really focus on what’s really important. Some people have been able to focus on making themselves better and creating business. The family time has definitely been precious. What’s the upside of all of this for you?
Family getaways in a pandemic – As long as we’ve all been in the house, once Summer it, things got harder. This is the time many of us use for a getaway. Summer vacations are looking real bleak these days. Some ideas I’ve seen floating around are camping and RV trips. A few people have rented houses with AirBnB to get away.
Back to school – It’s hard to believe there’s even a debate about kids getting back to school. When the number of infections is so far through the roof that we’ve been barred from visiting other countries… what school? I guess we got that wall homeboy at the White House wanted. The wall is keeping us away from everyone and no one wants to come here.
That’s what we’re talking about. Tell us what’s been on your mind these days.
