Jingle Jangle is an Instant Holiday Classic

Please tell me you’ve watched Jingle Jangle on Netflix! We got the heads up from Mocha Moms to be a part of a watch party and couldn’t wait to watch with the kids. It’s a holiday musical by David E. Talbert who used to be best known for his plays. He said this movie had been 20 years in the making. It’s such a passion project and you can feel it. It totally gave off The Wiz vibes in the layers of Black excellence.

The amazing Forest Whitaker stars in the movie along with Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose and Keegan-Michael Key and a ton of other people! This movie is a new holiday classic as far as we’re concerned! The kids loved it as much as we did. It’s a great story with amazing singing, acting and it’s just JOY! Um, we could ALL use a huge dose of joy right now.
